harleydogHarley:

Harley is our first kid. He was 6 months old when a friend found him wandering the streets and asked if we would like to take him home. We said yes. Harley is a german shepard/rottweiler mix, weighs about 95 pounds and is the sweetest little boy dog. He loves going to the property in Bonham to run, swim (well, dog paddle) and mark everything he possibly can, including ice coolers. He is currently about 10 years old but still acts like puppy at times.

taylordogTaylor:

Taylor is our second baby. He was about a year old when we adopted him from the Humane Soceity Shelter. He was born in the shelter. Taylor is a Doberman, Afgan mix and weighs about 95 pounds. While, generally, a very sweet dog he is psychotic at times. Great with people but extremely dog aggressive. He loves to romp, chase Harley and hunt squirrel. He is currently about 9 and a half years old. Still a puppy at heart.

Tabby

Tabby was the orginal. We adopted her after family members passed away and she inherited us. Despite her name, Tabby was a pure white domestic medium hair kitty who weighed about 6 1/2 pounds until she became ill. She ruled the roost, as most of you cat people can attest. Tabby was about 19 years old when we had to put her down but she didn't slow down until the last 6 months.

Simon

Simon is our newest addition. He is a flame point Siamese (mix between a Siamese and a tabby) whom we adopted from Treasured Friends, a cat rescue group. They found him about a day before he was to be euthanized and he was starving. Treasured Friends fed him, healed him and we adopted him. Simon now weighs about 14 pounds and is so very friendly and playful. He is about 1 1/2 years old. Just a kitten. He even tries to play with the dogs but they aren't too sure about him. Like Tabby, Simon rules the roost and loves seeing what kind of trouble he can get into. His favorite place to sleep is by the fire (in winter).

The lizards

We started with 4 leopard geckos then went down to two geckos. We adopted out a couple of babies but gave up the breeding program. They're as bad as rabbits. Finally, we gave up the last two geckos so now we have zero lizards. While nocternal they are still very cool. A real conversation piece. They were about 10 years old when we adopted them out with many years left.
